About Joe Suarez:

In his role, he was responsible for the automotive and construction equipment fleet, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposal. His duties included all vehicle garage operations, ensuring compliance with legislative and public agency guidelines, Federal/State rules and regulations, and taxing requirements.

Joe was also responsible for the automotive and construction equipment fleet for NextEra Energy Resources, including all wind sites, solar, fossil, generation repair and service, Florida City Gas and Lone Star Transmission across the United States and Canada. The fleet organization consists of 130 Florida based employees.

With more than 43 years of Operations and human resources experience, Joe is a recognized leader in fleet operations, employee and labor relations, strategic workforce planning, training and development, and project management. He has worked as a Senior Human Resources Manager, Senior Labor Relations Consultant and various distribution and transmission positions within Power Delivery and Western Area Power Administration, an agency of the U.S. Department of Energy.
